Như Ngọc / Danlambao - At 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 22, 2014, blogger Dieu Cay - Nguyen Van Hai, called his son Nguyen Tri Dung to send his Lunar New Year Greetings to all of his friends, relatives and supporters.
According to the prison regulation, each prisoner is only allowed to call home 5 minutes per month. In a brief conversation, in addition to asking and commenting on some family issues, blogger Dieu Cay informed his son about a few important issues in prison such as his request for medical care has not been answered by prison official.
Dieu Cay said he had sent two letters of protest to the Procuracy and the Supreme People's Court, but the prison official has not forwarded them to the said offices. Therefore, he asked his family to send the letter of protest on his behalf.
On the occasion of the coming Lunar New Year, Dieu Cay expressed his thanks and New Year Greetings to all of his friends and domestic and international organizations that have always paid attention to his welfare and supported him.
